Polyacrylamide

Polyacrylamide: powder and emulsion.

Choose the polymer form, then the ionic type. Powder PAM is available in anionic, cationic and nonionic types. Emulsion PAM is available in anionic and cationic types. A commercial grade is selected for the intended application; an application such as enhanced oil recovery is not a separate product form.

Anionic Powder PAM

Form
Powder
Ionic type
Anionic

Anionic powder PAM is used for clarification and solids separation, including settling, thickening and process-water recovery. Current application information covers water treatment and mining & mineral processing.

Specialty anionic powder chemistry

AM/AA/AMPS terpolymers

Dry powder terpolymers made from acrylamide (AM), acrylic acid (AA) and AMPS, with an AMPS content range of 5–25 mol%. This chemistry is intended for polymer-flooding selection in elevated-temperature, saline reservoir conditions.

Supply form
Dry powder
AMPS content
5–25 mol%
Application
Polymer flooding / EOR

AMPS content describes polymer composition, not the concentration of the injection solution. Temperature tolerance, brine compatibility and viscosity retention are evaluated for the selected product and reservoir conditions.

Cationic Powder PAM

Form
Powder
Ionic type
Cationic

Cationic powder PAM is used for floc formation and sludge dewatering. Selected products are used for retention and drainage in papermaking.

Selection information

For dewatering, describe the sludge, equipment and solids-handling objective. For papermaking, describe the retention or drainage objective and wet-end conditions.

Nonionic

Nonionic powder PAM is considered against the feed material and operating conditions. Describe the application and required process result so TianFloc can assess suitability.

Anionic Emulsion PAM

Cationic Emulsion PAM

Anionic Emulsion PAM and Cationic Emulsion PAM are the two ionic options in the emulsion range. Tell us the required ionic character, handling format and application conditions. Suitability and current availability are confirmed during selection.

Selection, supply and quality

Choosing a form for your process

Powder and emulsion describe the supplied form; anionic, cationic and nonionic describe ionic character. A commercial grade combines these attributes with the properties required for the application. Choosing the same ionic type does not make two grades interchangeable.

Preparation and dosing
Describe your existing preparation equipment, available water, mixing arrangement and dosing point. Confirm the preparation procedure for the selected grade.
Process result
Define the result you need: clarification, settling, dewatering, retention and drainage, or injection-fluid viscosity. Share the current product and baseline results where available.

Grade selection

Individual grades are reviewed for the application. This overview does not prescribe a grade or dosage.

Packaging and supply

Custom packaging and distributor-branded labels are available for qualified distributor programs. Packaging requirements and shipping origin are confirmed for the product and order. Fulfillment can be coordinated through Edmonton, Houston or the manufacturing base in China, subject to availability, destination and logistics fit.

Quality and documentation

Tianrun supports polymer development and application evaluation through its research and laboratory capabilities. Available product documentation is discussed directly with TianFloc. Product certification and compliance coverage depends on the selected grade and intended use. Manufacturing management-system certification is separate from product coverage.
